The Senior Class offers General English lessons designed to suit teenage learners. Lessons focus on real-life communication, critical thinking, and group collaboration, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
PEP Experience – Primary English Preparation (PEP)
7 – 11 Years
Sydney campus
PEP program provides a foundational academic framework for younger learners entering the Australian school system. The curriculum focuses on developing core literacy skills, including basic grammar structures, essential reading comprehension, and structured writing practice. Students engage with age-appropriate academic content to build the vocabulary and conceptual understanding necessary to participate confidently in primary school subjects such as science, mathematics, and humanities.
HSP Experience – High School Preparation (HSP)

HSP is an intensive academic program designed to mirror the demands of the Australian secondary curriculum. It develops proficiency in advanced academic English, with a strong emphasis on critical analysis, formal essay and report writing, and effective note-taking strategies. Students master research methodologies and deliver formal presentations, equipping them with the specific linguistic and cognitive skills required for success in high school examinations and
subject-specific studies.

Overview
Shafston Summer Holiday Programs offer an opportunity to build friendships and experience the best of Australia in a fun and engaging learning environment. Our programs provide students with the opportunity to enhance their English language skills and cultural experiences across two campuses — Brisbane and Sydney. In Brisbane, students enjoy the Young Learners Camp Experience with team-building activities and English language learning, while in Sydney, students benefit from the HSP/PSP Experience with a focus on academic English preparation aligned with the Australian school curriculum. The programs are held from January to February and July to August, and are designed for individual students and small groups from the age of 7 and above.
Exceptional English Classes
Students are taught core listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and also learn important team-building, leadership and problem-solving skills. Our teachers provide a friendly and structured environment that fosters positive communication and confident learning.
Australian Cultural Activities
We provide a rich cultural experience that’s lots of fun! In Brisbane, students can tour the famous Queensland Museum, learn about Aboriginal culture, meet reptiles and more. In Sydney, students can explore iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, visit world-class museums, and experience the vibrant multicultural lifestyle of one of Australia’s most exciting cities.

The Shafston Summer Holiday Programs are available across two campuses — Brisbane and Sydney — each situated in a vibrant city, providing students with distinct experiences and the excitement of Australia’s bustling urban lifestyle.
