Parking at Shafston
Due to the limited on-campus parking spaces at the Kangaroo Point campus, Quarterly and Annual parking permits are available for students who regularly attend campus and who may find this option more economical. Quarterly permits go on sale approximately two weeks prior to each Seasonal. Annual permits go on sale prior to year’s start, all permits are subject to availability.
View the campus parking maps below to find your best parking option. Payment can be made by transfer at the Student Centre Kangaroo Point Campus or pay it online.
Note that there is no parking available at the Southport and Sydney campuses. Public transport or street parking should be utilised.

Motorcycle parking
Motorcycle parking is free only in designated motorcycle parking bays.
If you hold a valid parking permit for a General car park, you may also park there. Additionally, you may park in street parking areas where allowed.

Shafston provides bike racks at the Brisbane campus. Find your closest bike racks by checking the Parking map
Other Parking Types
Visitor Parking
Official visitor parking is available for external visitors on official College business for less than one day.
Visitor parking may only be booked by a Shafston staff member. Should visitor parking be unavailable, staff parking should be offered instead. If your reservation is successful, an email will be sent to the staff member to pass on to your visitor.
Visitor parking is monitored and non-compliant bookings will be cancelled.
Event Parking
Free parking may be arranged for events held on campus, depending on the nature of the event.
Due to limited on-campus parking, larger events may require attendees to park off-campus. Participants are encouraged to use street parking or the free parking available at the nearby Mowbray Park Ferry Terminal, just a 5-minute walk to Shafston College.
