3 Things Happening Around Campus This Easter

Easter – it’s a time for us to indulge in all things sweet and fishy. What do we mean by that? Well, it’s pretty much all about binging on fresh seafood, warm hot cross buns and of course all the chocolate eggs your heart desires. However, above all, it’s really about having good times with friends and family and celebrating new beginnings. So, we’ve put together a list of things happening around campus these Easter holidays.

Eastergram Hunt Competition

Are you a bit of an adrenaline junkee? Have you ever wanted to soar through the air? Fly through the sky? Reach new heights? Well our wonderful friends at Nova 106.9 have given us two vouchers for Flying Trapeze at Circus Arts and we are giving them away to two lucky students. How can you win this awesome prize? Well, between April 10 and 12 we will be posting photos daily to our Facebook and Instagram with clues to where our Easter Bunny has been. The photos will be close to the Kangaroo Point Campus so you will have to use your memory and comment the exact location of each photo in the comments section. Each participant will get one chance to comment. The more detail the better. Once you have guessed all three, you will go into the draw to win the tickets. We will announce the winner on April 18th. So stay tuned on our Instagram and Facebook account to find the photos.

Free Chocolate?!

Yes, you heard us right. On April 13, the infamous (and ever so fluffy) Easter Bunny is making an appearance at the Brisbane campus during lunch time. During his visit, he will be dropping off over 300 chocolate treats around campus. So, keep your eyes peeled for easter eggs hidden in rare places. There will also be some larger chocolate eggs and bunnies up for grabs. You’ll also have the chance to take a snap with this furry friend.

City Sounds

City Sounds is Australia’s largest live music program and it’s free! The program presents local and touring bands and artists in various locations around not far from our Brisbane campus. Artists will be located in the Queen Street Mall, Post Office Square, South Bank and other locations around Brisbane each week.

With everything from alternative and folk, to jazz and electro, and everything in between, City Sounds has something for every music lover. So, grab a group of friends, a picnic blanket, some food and enjoy some down time with the free music on offer.
